World of Warcraft Blacksmithing Guide 1-300

Blacksmithing is one of the most expensive professions to power level to 300. It can be very painful to just 'go into blind'. By this, I mean you would find yourself spending a lot of time pondering what to craft next. You would also find yourself running back and forth to the Auction House all day. This guide provides you a method to power level Blacksmithing from 1-300 as easily as possible. You should purchase the below materials over a few days (so you don't have to pay outrageous prices) and then have at it.

Remember, for each crafting where it says "craft X items" you may have to continue crafting this item until you reach the required level. Good luck power leveling Blacksmithing!
Materials

As with most guides I provide, below, a list of optimal (best case) materials and recommended materials. If you're cheap, only purchase the number on the left, if you want to make sure this all happens quickly without running back to the Auction House, purchase the number of materials on the right.

* 105 Rough Stone
* 50 Coarse Stone
* 5-8 Silver Bars
* 270-300 Bronze Bars
* 75-90 Heavy Stones
* 100-120 Iron Bars
* 25-30 Lesser Moonstones
* 440 Solid Stone
* 305-340 Steel Bars
* 120-140 Mithril Bars
* 10-14 Dense Stone
* 20-26 Blue Power Crystals
* 80-100 Yellow Power Crystals
* 20-26 Star Rubies
* 540-600 Thorium Bars

Here are the ordered steps to get from 1-300 in Blacksmithing, good luck!
Apprentice

* Learn Apprentice Blacksmithing
* Create 25 Rough Sharpening Stones from 25 Rough Stone
* You should be level 25
* Learn Rough Grinding Stone
* Create 40 Rough Grinding Stones from 80 Rough Stones (You will need at least 10 of these later - save them all)
* You should be level 65
* Learn Coarse Sharpening Stones
* Create 10 Coarse Sharpening Stones from 10 Coarse Stones (You will need at least 50 of these later - you'll make more shortly)
* You should be level 75

Journeyman

* Learn Journeyman Blacksmithing
* Learn Coarse Grinding Stone
* Create 25 Coarse Grinding Stones from 25 Coarse Stones (You will need at least 50 of these later - you can not get above level 100 with this craft)
* You should be level 100
* Learn Silver Rod
* Create 5 Silver Rods from 5 Silver Bars and 10 Rough Grinding Stones
* You should be level 105
* Learn Rough Bronze Leggins
* Create 20 Rough Bronze Leggings from 120 Bronze Bars
* You should be level 125
* Learn Heavy Grinding Stone
* Create 25 Heavy Grinding Stone from 75 Heavy Stones (You will need at least 10 of these later)
* You should be level 150

Expert

* Learn Expert Blacksmithing
* Learn Rough Bronze Legging
* Create 25 Rough Bronze Leggings from 150 Bronze Bars
* You should be level 175
* Learn Iron Counterweight
* Create 25 Iron Counterweights from 100 Iron Bars, 50 Coarse Grinding Stones and 25 Lesser Moonstones
* You should be level 200
* Learn Solid Grinding Stone
* Create 110 Solid Grinding Stones from 440 Solid Stone (You will need all 110 of these later, even though you will only gain 10 levels from this)
* You should be level 210
* Learn Golden Scale Bracers
* Create 5 Golden Scale Bracers from 25 Steel Bars and 10 Heavy Grinding Stones
* You should be level 215
